Removing SAP?
The guy i bought my car from said every now and then a cel would show up and had it checked when it showed up one day. it was the incorrect flow reading for secondary air injection. i was reading on some other forums about just removing the whole unit and putting a forge blanking plate on. is there any added benefit from this besides having to replace random parts on this thing that seem to go bad? i havent had any cel's yet but was just kinda curious about this.

i believe there is a company out there who makes a delete for it so you don't get the cel. otherwise, just get one from a junkyard or something. to remove it, there are 3 nuts and 3 bolts you have to take off on the side facing the front of the SAP. you should remove the front bumper to do it easier.

I've heard conflicting reports that 20²'s resistor doesn't eliminate the P0411 code for incorrect flow but only the code saying the pump isnt installed.
I wish it were as easy on our cars as it is on some of the older mkIII VW who can simply use C2's chip to eliminate the whole SAI system from the ECU.
