Default Removed gauge cluster, odometer not lit anymore

I installed some gauge rings a couple days ago and when I put my cluster back in the odometer screen isn't lighting up anymore. I pulled the cluster back out and all the connections were made properly on the back.

I did a search and found some threads saying that a wire is probably broken inside, while someone else said it could be a blown fuse.

Have any of you had this problem and found a solution? I'm really hoping its not something broken internally.

I assume it could also be a bad lamp.

I would think the whole cluster would only have one fuse but you never know. Check the diagram in your manual.
