Hey guys i was told ur suppost to put the high grade gas in the car but someone also told me u dont need to. they say u can put regular and it makes no difference. is that true and please only speak if you know

don't use regular. it'll make your car run funny. use at least 91. or if you're strap for money don't fill up all the way with 89 and when you get enough money, fill it up with 91+.

Your knock sensor should be able to retard the ignition enough to accommodate the reduced octane. Be carefull how you load up your engine for a while. You will have to listen for any pinging under load. You will have a loss of power which doesn't matter if you don't use full throttle. I have run my v6 on regular and not noticed any problem. B.

Your mpg will suffer enough that you won't end up saving any money.

alright thanks guys cause my bro just got a new mini cooper s and he was told just to use regular and i dont want him to f up his engine
