Let me get this right you unhooked your vacuum lines? Are they still unhooked? If so then yeah your definietly gonna get some codes. Not sure what your intentions of unhooking your lines were. Can you give us some more input behind removing them. If you put them back and there wrong you will definitly get some codes. Might wanna look at the vacuum diagram posted on this forum somewhere I can't remember where exactly but I know it was recent. The stealership also couldmake you a copy of it for free if you asked them.

I first hooked them all back up the way they were before i started working on my car and the car ran well but there was hesitation in the high rpms and i got all the codes listed above.i then hooked the vacum lines according to the diagram on audiforums and I got differnet codes than the ones listed above. I had cylinder misfire codes and no cel light. The car was sputtering. Im just confused. I cleared them and they came back.

I definitely would install the vacuum lines back to the factory diagram and what ever codes you get post them on here so we can get a better idea. Are your hoses in good condition? What motor do you have 1.8t or 2.8? By the looks of it something is defintley hooked up wrong imo? Because if not you got a lot of parts that need replacing and I doubt they all went bad a once. Do you have vag-com if so when the hoses are install per factory you can test what ever parts you get a cel for.

cool, im on vaca so i cant tell you my codes. I was getting cylinder misfires and intake maf sensor low codes. car was sputtering! This was after I hooked the vac tubes to the diagram above!! Not as the car was hooked up before I started the work. If You search vacum diagram, that is the diagram I hooked the vac tubes to. Before I strated the vac tubes were not the way the vac diagram stated. and before I strated the car ran great, except for a small boost leak. Oh ya! 1.8tqm 2000 a4. Thanks fellas.

If your getting a cylinder mis fire switch coil packs and see if the cyl misfire moves to another cylinder if so you need to replace that coil pack if it doesn't you may need to replace the ignition control module
