do not time cams with head on. it is possible to bend the valves. just set piston 1 at tdc. leave it. set the cams so the marks on the cams line up to the arrows on the caps with sixteen links in between the marks. then you can put the head on. place the valve cover on and make sure the mark on the cam gear is lined up with the mark on the valve cover. make sure the mark on the dampner is lined up with the mark on the lower tbelt cover. it is then ok to place the tbelt on and roate a couple times to ensure the marks still line up.

all of your marks need to look like this before you are ready to put the tbelt on. the marks can be off by a little, so i would take pictures if i were you and post them

Those pictures are a life saver? Okay, I'll go set the cams in with the marks lined up. The package that had the dampener gasket in it had 4 o-rings and a blue half circle thing in it, where do I install those?

dampner gasket???? there is a half moon seal that goes under the cam chain tensioner. and remember to silicone the **** out of that gasket. but as far as the 4 o rings go, youll have to elaborate on it

you can put the half moon seal in when you drop the cams in. do it all at once. and that gasket maker should work fine. just goop it up pretty good and wipe the excess of the inside when you drop the cams in

haha. you need to turn it around 180 degrees. that big round hump goes in the front. and you need to put the cams in first. sorry for laughing...
