Rear End Options
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but final drive ratios are as follows, right?
1.8T manual: 4.111
2.7T manual: 4.111
2.8 auto: 3.889
What's the final drive on a 1.8T auto?
Was there a 2.8 manual in North America? If so, what was its final drive?
What was the final drive for a tiptronic S4?
Thanks in advance!

Don't have the manual transaxle ratios but heres all the B5 front wheel and Quattro transmission and rear differential ratios that were available. Had to put the pdf file into a zip file because it was to big (78kB) to attach directly to the post.
The 2.8 quattros did have manual transissions, code letters CXW (12V), DDL, DJR (30V), which were 3.889 final drive ratio transmissions. The 2.8 FWD transmisisons were CWZ, and DHX (12V), and DDK, DHY (30V) each of which was a 3.700 final drive. The DHX, and DHYs were the replacement transmissions for the CWZ and DDK in July of 96.
There was also a 6 speed used on the 95 2.7L bi turbo that has a 4.111 final drive ratio, code letter EDU, that mated up to a DQA rear axle. Note that this transmission uses 108mm drive shaft flanges, whereas most of the other B5s have 100mm flanges.
