Default Rear Camber Question

I just put some 18" x 8" wheels with 225/40/18 tires and now the left rear tire hits the strut assembly when I turn to the right. Visually I can see thatthe leftappears to have an inward camber (the top of the wheel is closer to theinside of the car) compared to the right, which appears to be fine. I have a stock suspension on the vehicle.I am not the original owner so it mayhave been in an accident. Is itpossible to adjust this camber? if so how?If not can someone give me an ideaof what I need to replace to correct theoffset. To give you an idea of the difference between the left and right- thetop of the right rear tire is about flush with thetop of the fender, while the top of the left rearsits about 3/4 of and inch in from the fender.Any input would help.

Check to see if the cam bolt has come loose. Look for a bolt by the bottom of the inside wheel that has a washer that looks like a cam behind it, if that has come loose the camber can slip by over 1 degrees. Take it to an alignment shop to correct this issue, it may need a new bolt.

I am not seeing the bolt that you mentioned. I have attached some photos, could you please point it out to me. Thanks

I assume that either the rear stub axle or the support bar is bent. I think I am going to just buy a new rear stub axle and if that doesn't fix the problem I think I will just shim it.

the camber bolt is located more inwards on the lower control arm, I think. I dunno for sure, bc I paid for my alignement due my lack of funds to buy an alignment rack and software - you know, practicality and all...

Default RE: Rear Camber Question

I am planning on getting it professionally aligned after I put on my H+R cup kit, which is sitting in the garage. As the car is now, a small bump or turn to the right makes it rub. The cup kit will make it camber even more so I don't want to put the kit on, have the wheel stuck to the strut assembly and not be able to drive the thing to the alignment shop. I will look on the arm and see if I can find the adjustment. I get my Bentley manual on Monday so hopefully I can find the info in there. If anyone else has a diagram or can give me any info that would be great.
