Default rear caliper carrier/sliding pins

ok so im in the middle of changing out my rear rotors and pads and one of the slider pins that goes into the carrier was stuck in the carrier and it broke when i tried to get it out. i was able to get the broken sliding pin out but the problem is i cannot find anyone who sells the sliding pins by themselves and i dont want to pay 70$ from ecstuning for the whole carrier when mine is fine, and then have to wait for it to arrive before i can drive. anyone know of anywhere to get the pin or any other suggestion? thanks

also another quick less important question, i was told my coolant reservoir is cracked but i cannot see any cracks in it, is the reservoir the plastic piece that the coolant is poured directly into or is there like a hidden reservoir that im not seeing?

The dealer is the only other place you can get a new pin, they run like $40.
I wouldn't buy a used one.

The reservoir probably has a few stress fractures from the heat of the engine. If you can't see anything, its unlikely you have to change immediately. I've been told the same thing about mine, and from what I can see its still in great condition. It's just one of those things you need to keep an eye on.

ok so this is starting to frustrate me. thanks for the info on the pins i ended up getting them today and gave them to my buddy whos shop is changing my rear rotors (i got fed up with it) and now he is telling me i have the wrong pads. i ordered the full brake kit off of mjm (http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=2149)
and now he is saying that the pads wont fit in the rotors, the top of the pads sticks out to much and wont fit inthe rotor. i also picked up a pair of pads from carquest and they do the same thing. ive double checked both places and both say they are the right pads. am i just having bad luck or does my buddy not know what he is doing?
