well i also checked the spark plugs, fuel pressure, and inj. when i just turn the acc on the light comes on but when i actually start the car it goes off and stays off, when it misses it does not come on nor does it flash, it pretty much comes on randomly and goes off randomly.

 

where are you located? if your near by i can scan it with a vag com. If not im sure someone on the forum is close.
