Quick question about a turbo kit
Ok, so I have a 97 A4 1.8T quattro AUTOMATIC. I have all the basic mods like, test pipe, miltek exhaust, silicone hoses, giac chip, etc. I am in the process of rebuilding my motor right now with some JE pistons, Scat rods, super tec exhaust valves,and some other goodies. The motorwill be 1.9L and will have 9.2:1 compression. I ordered them from Isaam on Audizine, he was a big help! I am looking at throwing a turbo kit on the car while I have it all apart, I just wanted everyones input on the 2 kits I am looking at.
1) 034 Motorsports GT28RS kit
2) PES Tuning GT28 kit (got a great opportunity to pick a used kit up with everything for $2,600 including a intercooler and it only has 6k miles)
I am just looking for the best kit that will not kill my tranny, I know the limit is about 300ft lbtq for the auto. I am just not prepared yet to have Level 10 upgrade my tranny, next year I will be doing that and probably upgrading to a 3071R turbo kit. I just want to know which of the two will be the best for me right know, I will be driving the car everyday. I dont want to have to pull out the tranny until sometime next year, I am putting a lot of money in the block alone right now. Thanks for the help!!!

if you r already going 3071r next year and a k03 /k04 is not enough, get an elim kit like a GT2x or GTRS they will get you some power without maxing out your tip-tranny, also alot of the pros and cons have ben covered in the BT sticky at the top of the page.

or you can just skip the turbo kit this year, go level ten, and not waste money on a turbo setup you know you will just get rid of
