regardless of what turbo you run, you should never be 'super hot' unless you live 150 feet from a highway and floor it all the way home. a properly tuned car will run relatively the same operating temperatures no matter the size of the turbo. and even then you can still just remember 'oh im 5 minuits from home, il stop driving like an idiot until then'. and the largest turbo you can possibly run on this car wont cost more then $2k. most are around $1k.
and you wont crack the turbo in cold weather. its to keep the oil flowing in a hot turbo when you turn the car off so the oil doesnt cook and turn into burnt crap cake and clog the oil lines.
