Question on Offset & Spacers
#12
^ Hey man, can you please post pics? I would love to see your setup. Also, do you have FWD? I would think that setup is bad for Quattro, no? Last but not least, how does the car feel with wider tires in the back?

^Pics indeed, curious to see how that looks.
rcheing: As far as I know, a staggered setup doesn't affect quattro (information from Kriptonic, one of the most knowledgeable folks when it comes to wheels I think I've ever met) the only thing that is bad for quattro is a different diameter of wheel IE 16" up front and say 18" in the rear, but different widths, as far as I know, is ok.

staggered tire diameters could be a problem with quattro if they are over 3% different. you'd need to get the correct different aspect ratios with different widths. wheel diameter doesn't matter; double staggered would be ok as long as the tire diameters match

i took the best pictures i could with my phone.... not so good and couldnt really get a good picture of the setup (also my baby needs a bath) but it handles beautifully one of the nicest handling cars ive driven....nicer than my buddys track e46 m3. Its a quattro, if it was FWD i probably would have just bought a civic :-D and so far no problems with the quattro system and it has been like this for about 12-15k miles maybe more
