Default Question about my codes

Here they are:

Code:
VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.1
Thursday, 10 February 2011, 22:56:28.

Chassis Type: 8D - Audi A4 B5
Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,16,17,25,35,37,45,55,56,57,67,75,76,77

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
   Controller: 4B0 906 018 P
   Component: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0006
   Coding: 07201
   Shop #: WSC 06335
   VCID: 2E2F8DBBF919
1 Fault Found:
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
            P1114 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 8E0-614-111-ABS.LBL
   Controller: 8E0 614 111 A
   Component: ABS/EDS 5.3 QUATTRO D10
   Coding: 0273004284
   Shop #: BB 24334
   VCID: 1C4B57739FA5
No fault code found.
So I guess the first one is the O2 sensor, I cleared it to see if it comes back. I dont have a check engine light.

My problem is with the second one, it says ABS, but then it says no fault code found, the problem is that on my LCD I see the circle with the two tangent arcs beside it (ABS warning)...so how can I clear it off my screen if theres no fault code being given?

Thanks

Unplug your ABS control module then plug it back in again (with the key off) See if the vag com will communicate with it again.

It's on the driver side, near the coolant tank kinda with all the brake lines going into it right? I'll give that a shot.

Ok so I unplugged and repluged the ABS module, didnt make a difference. The ABS light on the dash itself is not on, just the one in the LCD display. How can I clear it?

After checking through the Ross-tech site I think this will get rid of it:

Code:
[Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Recode - 07]
Write down the existing coding for future reference.
Enter 5-digit code from below
[Do It!]

Look at the first two digits in the coding. Add the values for the options together to get the correct coding.

00 - No available equipment
+01 - Brakepad wear sensor warning active
+02 - Seatbelt warning active
+04 - Washer fluid level warning active (may only work with pre-2000 models)
+16 - Navigation System (non-USA models)
If I removed the brakepad wear sensor I think that would fix it. It must be break pad wear light and not and ABS light.

Anyone ever had this?

ummm...there is nothing wrong, that icon on your dash, warns you that your brake pads are worn and need replacement,a simple look through your cars A4 manual would have told you what that icon means, when it appears on your dash.

When that icon came up on mine the very fist time, since i owned my B5,i looked in the manual and knew what it meant,i changed the back first,it didn't go away, then i figured the brake pad sensors were in the front brake pads, changed the front pads and it finally went away.

That o2 sensor is obviously another matter altogether but i think you know what to do with that...replacement time

Yeah I have had that light for some time but I just changed all my pads and all my rotors and the new sensors in the front are connected. Also I checked the level of my brake fluid and it is fine.

So I have the light for no reason and can't figure out how to get it to go away...

Did you clear all your codes with your vag-com to see if that clears the icon?

New pads, new rotors, plenty of brake fluid, but I still have that (O) in my LCD...

Any ideas?
