I am new to the Audi community and i have a 96 audi a4 v6 quattro. I am wanted to change the transmission filter and fluid and i found the kit on ECS tuning for a pretty good deal. Someone was telling me that i will need a special pump to pump the fluid in as well as i will need to know how much to put in because there is no dipstick. Also they were saying something about you will need so much if the car is cold and so much if the car is warm. Can anyone help me with this issue.

I have not done this myself but I have heard to put the transmission fluid in you will need a pump and it has to be a particular fluid and amount. I was going to change mine but I do not have all the tools to do this.

 

According to the Bentley guide, the fluid has to be at exactly 40C when you fill it, otherwise it will be underfilled or overfilled. If you start googling, you can probably find a DIY out there. Here's another good place to find DIY's. http://audidiy.com/
