Default Question about (Audi Symphony)

Hi..I went to a shop hear in Miami to get my flip out radio/tv installed in my Audi A4 2001 1.8T QUATTRO and they told me that to get my radio installed i would have to run wire's to every single speaker, because the system that i have is the AUDI SYMPHONY is that true and they wanna charge me 180.00 but im not going to pay that price because i think it's a rip off any input will be helpful thank you.

Yep it's true. The rear deck and door panels need removed. There is an amp on the drivers side rear deck speaker that needs to be bypassed if not using the stock radio. That is the main bitch of it- explained here. Usually people just upgrade their speakers since they have to go to all this trouble just to upgrade to a different head unit.

dude,180.00 is cheap, for a Audi audio setup, every shop will charge more on vw and Audi cars, its not as straight forward as a honda, the fact that our cars comes with a bose speaker setup that has a factory amp, that has to be either bypassed or used, depending on a few factors.

I am not using anything stock in my after market Pioneer Head unit,so it sounds far better than the stock setup, you will hear and if you get a subwoofer and a separate amp for it,with 4 new speakers and a amp for those, you'll also FEEL the difference.

When i am watching a movie on my 7" AVH-P4200DVD head unit,i feel like i am at the movie theater with the subwoofer bang'n and the 4 speakers delivering that surround sound to my ears!

you won't regret it man!!
