Quattro Fuel Tank Studs Repair?
The fuel tank on quattro B5 A4's has a bunch of small threaded studs for attaching parts to it, like the heat shield, a protection plate, the straps and the support bracket. I had the privilege of having to remove the tank recently, and a bunch of those studs snapped right off with no effort whatsoever due to rampant rust. Even if they hadn't snapped off, there wasn't enough left of them to be useful as studs anyways.
Are those somehow repairable? I can't find a part number for them anywhere in ETKA, but they do look like they could maybe be pulled out and replaced with new ones. Otherwise I'll be reduced to JB Weld-ing some of the parts to the tank...
The only ones that really concern me are the ones that hold up the front protection plate (8D0201308A). There's 3 of them, and they're completely gone.
