Angry Puddle in the rear driver floor board

I woke up this morning to find a swamp in the back floor board. I did have a dealership look at it for the sunroof drains and they said that they were spot less clean and so clean that dust was gathering around the holes. I went there around a month ago to have them check it out and i cocked around the windshield where there was a little gap. But today i woke up and a swamp! anyone have ideas?

lol wow. For starters, I know you said you had the dealer look at them, but do ya trust 'em? On the up-side, there's only a finite number of places it could be coming from. I'd check the weather seals around all your doors and the trunk. When my sunroof drains were clogged up two summers ago, i sprayed the car with a hose to see where the water was comin from.

Also did they check the drain under the battery in the cowl area. It's amazing how much water can get inside the car when that little drain is plugged up with, say, one leaf (I had a couple of inches of water on the floors). And it can end up in the rear floors too, unless you're parked aiming downhill.

Agreed with what these guys said, although in all fairness, the Burdick chain of dealerships (which I assume is where you took the car, right Tyler?) is known to be run by enthusiasts and my own experiences with them in my past Nissan life were outstanding. Still, I'd go back and tell them to do it again. If that doesn't turn up anything, it may be door seals. If that's the case, I have a couple gallons of Rubber Rejuvenator - next time you're down here (or next time I head to Syracuse) we can treat them and see if it helps.

PS - you should be happy now that as of today, I'm not frontin' your wheels in my sig anymore

ya i didnt check under the battery i completely forgot about that drain. (smacks head with palm of hand!) and CCA4 when i brought it there less than a month ago they said that the sunroof drains were completely clean and they did clean it out and like Jeremy said i would have to agree with him. i will have to take a look at the battery drain tomorrow after i get my inspection(fingers crossed).

Yes Jeremy I am very happy now that i am the only one with the rims on there car in real life and in a sig pic

pour water over the doors and roof on the driver's side and sit in the car to see if anything comes in
