If you're looking for a replacement key or remote for your Audi, e-mail Carson (cheter@riversideaudi.com) of Riverside Audi. His prices are by far the best you'll ever see from most Audi dealerships. Most charge around $200...he's not even close to that obsurd number. I just ordered a remote w/key and a valet key for much less than $200. Just my humble opinion.

Default Question

I only received one key when I bought my 2000 A6 4.2L. If I were to buy another remote key and a valet key and get them cut, would I be able to program the new remote key if I use the valet key in the door, the new remote key in the ignition, and the old remote key to operate the locks? Would the valet key work in the door and would I have to program it?

I don't know much about Audis. My last car was a 2004 GTO, which got totalled in a flash flood. It was very fast and cool, but I could not drive it in the winter in Wyoming because it would get stuck in an inch of snow...
