Default Problems while developing speed... suggestions?

I have a 1999-A4 B5 Automatic and the car is giving me trouble while developing speed. The first gear is ok. but from 2nd to 5th when RPMS are between 2000 and 3200 the car makes a strange vibration like if it was a tranny problem or something like that. The thing is that I can't hear a sound. I believe its between converter and engine, not the tranny itself. As soon as it passes 3200 rpms, it develops speed well. No check engine light.

I've been thinking of different things:

MAF
dirty tranny Converter
Throttle Body
Electricity (reaching Tranny Celenoids)
front axle tripods (unbalanced)

*something you might like to know to help me better: before I bought the car, it was parked for 6 months. timing bet and retainers were changed by previews owner (my cousin) at 50k.

please help, this is driving me crazy and it's my every-day vehicle.

thanks

So are you getting a check engine light during those troublesome rpm's?

These cars can be real snotty bitches sometimes..a little thing can set um off. With that in mind, I would usually try to do the things that are the cheapest and easiest first to see if that fixes the problem. Do you have a 1.8 or 2.8?

I know, the first thing im gonna do is change the alternator's voltage regulator.

my car is 1.8T

im not sure but i think that when the days temprerature is 83+ (very common around here) the car feels worse, but when the days are nicer 73+ (or usually @ night) , it still feels strange, but less strange.

Same problem here. I thought the transmition was slipping, but my mechanic took it for a spin, and says it's the throttle body that needs cleaning or replacement. Will post info once it's sorted and out from the service garage in two days.
