i went a got a new scanner and ran it and it came up with the code p1545 what should i do? the guy told me he already cleaned out the throttle body and its still doin the same idle problem. they checked all the vaccum hoses and said they were fine, do u think i need to replace the whole throttle body? and we also changed the maf sensor also

A Throttle Body Adaptation might solve this. You would likely need the VAG-COM scanner for this. Not sure what scanner you bought.

Well if it is the "vag-com" you will need the software to go with it for your computer. If you spent around $250 or more then I would bet that's it.

i just took the car to a real shop and the guy told me i have to put a headunit in it cause the communication is gettin messed up,, my question is my friend has a 99 vw passat and has his stock radio just sitting around. will the fit in my car? if not will a aftermarket headunit work?

some aftermarket radios seem to work, some dont. theres no rhyme or reason to it really. the passat radio might fit, no harm in trying. i would guess that it wont though. if the connectors are the same on the back of the radio then it should work.
