Update:
I searched eBay, craigslist, and some local junkyards. eBay wasn't really much of a help. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right places. Craigslist was more fruitful and I got an offer from a guy, $400 for both cylinder heads, used, off of a ATQ engine. I tried Shokan which, in case you haven't heard of it, is an all Audi junkyard near Albany and they said that ONE complete head would be around $700.. but then again it's been cleaned, tested, and comes with a 6 month warranty. I think I'm gonna end up going with the used pair of heads from craigslist.

 

400 aint bad for a heads that dont have bad valves. i swold some with bent valves and slightly damaged chambers for 200. the problem with them is that the 2.7tt guys want them for the bigger ports, making them more desirable. but i would take your motor apart before you go buying parts. you never know

 

Yeah I was planning on doing that, I just haven't had the time and I still need to order the polydrive socket or else I won't get very far in taking the heads out. :P I was just calling around to get an idea for prices and if they sounded fair to you guys
