Hi guys.. as what the title said..my sunroof sometimes randomly opens halfway..what could be the problem? any fix? i appreciate your help guys..thanks

 

It's a known issue on the B5 and typically is the switch contacts - search for "sunroof switch" and all the relevant info should come up.

 

i tried the one on the audidiy..cleaned the contacts and adjusted them, ill give my sunroof some time to see if it will happen again...hehehehe..

 

Yeah my sun roof randomly opens and closes , Closes when you want it open and opens when you want it closed . lol .
I think that it adjusts to surrounding air pressures too .
Went on a trip in the mountains and it would open just long enough to let a lil bit of air in and then it closes right back up .
Kinda Cool .
Hasn't Rained in on me yet so , I'm not going to complain .

 

Yeah I need to clean the switch on mine too. Pretty annoying...
