Sorry for the lack of a writeup but some of the B5 owners are helping me out with pictures and writeups to help with the installation and show where to tap for power.
For the VEI gauge you only need to use the red and black wires. The green wire does not have to be used as the level 2 brightness setting works pretty much in all conditions.
