Default Plethora of ABS issues

First it was the ABS module, couldn't connect to it at all. Did a DIY repair, turns out it had an internal memory fault (not repairable). Fortunately I had another faulty ABS module that I traded plus $100 for a refurbished module from Cheap ABS. So now that's been taken care of.

Then the front two ABS speed sensors weren't reading anything (checked in VAG-COM). For some reason this actually causes the brakes to be virtually non-functional until the ABS module realizes that there is a problem with the front sensors.
So I went on Ebay, and found aftermarket sensors for $41 each. For whatever reason the grommet that keeps the connector inside the chassis and away from the wheel was on backwards on each sensor... Took care of that.

Turns out the front left sensor still wasn't reading anything. Today I pulled the CV off the hub (gotta take out the pinch bolt and top 2 suspension links) and found the ABS tone ring sitting inside the hub, mangled. It should be attached to the CV joint, of course.

Each step has brought me closer, and after owning my car for almost 8 months I REALLY want to get rid of the ABS and blinking brake lights!!!

Now, I just need a damn tone ring. From searching I have yet to find a place which sells them and I really don't want to buy a whole outer CV joint. Does anybody have an extra tone ring they could sell me, or know of a place which offers them? I sent a request to Shokan but it'd be nice if someone here could help me out

Ah man! Well, Shokan won't sell the ring separate, and they want a healthy $185 for a whole used axle.

Looks like I will be buying a super cheap $50 aftermarket outer CV joint off the internet and stealing its ring. I don't have time to hit a junkyard

Went ahead and bought this:

Seemed like it turned out to be the least expensive choice for a decent looking part. Even if it is for quattro, I just need the damn ring!
