Default pink fluid leak?

hey guys i opened up my engine hood and saw this.

is this coolant? I am pretty sure it is but curious.. doesn't seem like a lot and it looks like its all dried up.

there really isn't much but i just noticed it.. the clamps seem pretty dam tight though so im not sure how any of whatever that is got out.

Coolant is the only pink fluid in the car so it'd have to be G12.

could it be a bad hose? I'm not much of a car expert any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine never goes above the medium point, and typically driving on the roads in town it stays there once heated up on highways it will go a little lower than medium.

Got to be that hose connection right above the alt. I could almost swear I see a little coming out of there starting toward the bottom of that hose.
