Huh? Its the brake light switch. It's behind the brake pedal and senses when you are using the brakes so it can turn your brake lights on, let your ABS know how hard you are braking, etc. Has nothin to do with the ebrake. Why do you think yours is bad? They are hardly ever an issue with B5s.

Do you have an ABS or BRAKE light on? Random ABS activation? Are any of your brake lights out? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. It's sort of a pita to replace.

If you hit your brakes before scanning, you won't get that code.

I ordered those pieces from them and received them next day, with perfect fitment/quality. and for $6.95 you can't go wrong...

Thanks. There is a guy in classifieds selling his grilles. If he doesn't take my offer then thats the route I might have to take.
