Excellent car, clean as hell man. Keep rocking that roof rack, I've always loved those on Audis. Can you offer some insight on doing the facelift fogs? I'm thinking about doing them, but I need to see how it's mounted. could you remove the grilles and take a few shots of how you mounted them in the holes? Thanks in advance, sorry if this is threadjacking.

facelift fogs were EASY, but my car had fogs at one point that were removed . They line up to mounting holes on the bumper cover, and allI did was buy some stainless pan head bolts (so they sit flush) and nylock nuts and snap in the covers. 3 bolts per foglight.I can take photos for you tonight.
I just used a multimeter to track a 12v line in the headlights when the switch was turned on, and soldered/heatshrinked into that line. it was about an hour andhalf job including the hardware store run...

SoI just landed an OG rack from a Karmann Ghia... it's been re-boarded so I don't feel too bad messing with it... if it was all original no way I'd alter it.
I'm gonna fab 4 brackets and mount it to my rack... see how she looks. If i like it I may cutom build a "built to size" woody rack from some galvanized tube and weld up an "og-like" rack for GTG's and show. a cooler, some folding chairs... it'll be pimp.
