Phatbox, DMS, and cradle issue
B5 forum obviously gets the most traffic, so I figured I'd post my issue here.
I have a Phatbox installed in my A4 and is in use with the Audi Symphony. It works great.
My issue is that the previous owner's music is still on there and I can't seem to load my own.
I've downloaded the software from PhatMac, but plugging in the cradle via USB to my MacBook Pro does nothing. It acts like there is nothing plugged into the USB ports. I've verified all my USB ports are working as my Cannon Camera, IPod, and external harddrive all function with my MacBook via USB.
When the cradle is plugged into a power source and the DMS is inserted, there is a steady red light on the cradle.
My Mac:
MacBook Pro running Mac OSX 10.4.11
20G DMS:
DMS-020G rev B
Cradle USB 2.0:
DMS-USB2 rev-
The Macbook doesn't recognize there is a drive plugged into it and attempting to load the DMS via the PhatMac software gives me an error that the cradle or DMS might not be plugged in, stating "File or Directory does not exist."
Anyone had this problem? I bought the car in May and have not ever been able to use it with my Mac. I'm sick of listening to someone else's music!
