Default performance

i want to make my 1997 a4 2.8 quattro faster off the line. of coarse a s/c would help but it is very expensive so i was directed to motodyne.com and looked at their MPT performance chip and Hitachi Large Bore MAF. How much more hp would this give me? are they reliable? is their any better ways to help give a boost i no the 12v is not good for tuning but i badly want to make it faster

Yeah a sc would help if they even made one for your engine... Here is some info about motodyne for you:

If you want fast, you are in the wrong car.

a 50shot of nitrous will always help. Its cheap and that small of a shot will be safe.

nos would get real addicting and pricey considering how slow 12v's are.. But yeah, there is always that.

Its almost to bad that the VR6 guys have all kinds of upgrades both NA and FI and the poor V6 has nothing. But then again, its so much cheaper having one head, intake manifold, and exhaust manfold

thanks... and how much more hp and torque do you think i would get out of putting the performance chip and large bore MAF in... its like 1k and i dont want to spend all that if its not really going to help by the way my car has 130000 + miles on it if that changes anything i heard it does.

Save your money. You might notice a difference, mainly in your wallet though.
