Installed a newsouth powergasket a couple days ago, seems to be working pretty well. However when I took off my throttle body I noticed oil all over everything even though I just cleaned it all out last month. I want to install a catch can but without spending much so I can do a fmic, so can I run a catch can with a breather and just plug my tip?

Replied to your PM a few minutes ago, but yes. I run an 034 catch can from the vent tube on the back of the valve cover. The can vents to atmosphere and I haven't had any issues with it. I used a 1" aluminum slug to plug the hole where the pancake valve used to be in the turbo inlet pipe. I originally had the can plumbed back into the TIP, but I didn't like how cluttered it made that side of the engine bay. There was 1" heater hose running all over the place, it was a mess. Venting the can to atmosphere stinks a little more but nothing worth writing home about

Ya I'm not really worried about the stinking, if I did I wouldn't have installed a test pipe . Thanks, a catch can will be my next mod after a mbc to control my turbo spiking like a retard at 16psi and causing my car to buck like crazy

Installed my boostvalve today, easier then I expected but now I have to drive then adjust it over and over till its where I want it which is a pain when the pcv tube is burning the crap out of my hand. Oil catch can goes in tomorrow, hopefully it will go as planned

If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you can download an ad-blocking extension, tag that gif as an ad, and you won't be able to see it anymore. I've done that several times on this forum and others and it works really well. Personally, I like the snail
