Default Painted my wheels

I spent the last three days painting my wheels. I started it all with a product called G2 engine paint. Its a two part self leveling epoxy that is a brush on application. But, unfortunately, the paint in the brush started setting up, and really messed up alot of the finish. So I got up this morning, sanded the ruff spots, and bought some Duplicolor Low Gloss Black Engine paint. The finish product looks alot better.

Got very nervous before I started the sanding....

After one or two spokes, got tired of sanding, and bought some spray stripper

And I finished just before a huge storm came through

If I could have found the pump spray applicator in one of the G2 videos, I think this would have been alot better. But, and 50 bucks a kit, I would be very careful. I learned my lesson. I should have just sprayed them, and I would have been done last night. Well, the look alot better, but not as smooth as I wanted, so I think I'm gonna get them powder coated at some point.

It wasn't my first choice, but I found this Magnaflow muffler for a hundred bucks one Ebay, when all the other Magnaflows were $178. I'll do it some day, but for right now I'm keeping them.

Looks good, a quality job. I don't know what condition the actual rims were on those wheels, but I might have tried to preserve the bright lip for some contrast. But still, you did a good job.

Don't tint the tails though! That murdered out look is played out and your car looks really nice as is.

Wow those look really good[sm=smiley20.gif]

I thinkyour tails would look better with a little tint

Is there anyway you can mount the muffler back in a couple of inches? Thats what makes it look odd is that they stick out kinda far

Good looking car keep up the good work
