Default p0411 (2ndary air) after 5 min on the highway

I got a cel after driving for about 15 minutes, the last 5 of which was on a highway at ~60 mph.

All of the info I found was from people who had their pump fail when the car started but mine did not follow such events.

I have had this cel before but cleared it and it came back about a week later. Cleared again and it came back about 2 months later (yesterday), so that's 3 total so obviously not a fluke. If anybody has any hints as to where I can start a diagnostic I'd be grateful.

I have ordered a spare fuse as they are only a few bucks and will do that when it gets in but rarely does anybody get that lucky.

Thanks!

How about the vacuum hose to the combo valve on the back of the head? If your pump is good, its that valve that controls the flow into the exhaust header.

The air pump only comes on on cold starts, if you're getting a code while the motor's warmed up my guess would be the combi valve's leaking or sticking open. The ECU doesn't differentiate between too much or too little secondary air flow, so if it's happening when the SAI pump is off it must mean too much flow.
