Ok, I took the plastic engine cover off and this is what I found:



The smoke is definitely coming from below where the engine cover was and next to where the heat shield is. It's hard to see in the pictures but it looked like there was some baked oil down in there as well so an oil leak seems likely.

I'm going to try and clean up all the engine this weekend so that I can confirm that the valve gasket is leaking and replace it if need be. Thanks again for all the help.
