Can you help me with this code? From what I've read this is referring to the rear o2 sensor after the cat. Should I just replace the rear sensor or should I do both? Could it be the catalytic converter as well? (not making rattling noises). Or just say screw it and put in a test pipe and bypass the rear o2 sensor?

I only found 2 threads with this code so let me know your thoughts please.

The car has 198000 on it's clock so it's getting up there in mileage.

I was getting misfire codes for the #2 cylinder before I got this code, so I ordered a coil pack and replaced it last night and it still was running rough as of this morning...I reset the computer and cleared the codes.

 

As far as I know, the post-cat O2 sensor is just there so the car knows if the cat is working.

 

UPDATE:

02 sensor is not here till Tuesday. I was dealing with the abs sensor and making a small adjustment to the alignment (post control arm/tie rod replacement) and added a 1/2 can of seafoam to the gas and the other half to the intake. It seems to of helped...idle is better, no codes, no misses. I'm hoping it cleaned out some debris/oil/dirt from the cat.

We'll drive it for a day or 2 and see what happens, gonna replace the sensor when it comes in.
