Yesterday i tripped P0118 and erased it but today it came back. It reads as so: "P0118 engine coolant temp circuit high input." It pops up acouple seconds after i turn on the engine. The coolant cant be high because the engine just started and even the coolant gauge shows that the engine is cool. and when it does heat up it never goes over the middle point. What could be tripping this? Coolant sensor? OR something else?

 

correction it says high input nothing about temp so i guess its not overheating but im still not sure what could be causing this
