Thanks for the info CCA4. I'll definitely give that a try tomorrow. I heard the drain for the radiator is only accessible by removing the front bumper am I correct? On the drivers side?

You may be able to pop off the lower corner grille and get to it through there.

He went and did it anyway. Check his "ranking" by his screen name now. To the OP, sorry about the digression - guy was a dickbag but he won't be here causing any problems anymore and there shouldn't be any further straying off your topic.

UPDATE:

okay, i finished flushing the system out. i ran the car without the thermostat and the car temp didnt heat up at all so i think the water pump is working. I also tested the thermostat in bopiling water and it opened up and closed so the thermostat works. once the water came out clear, i put the thermostat back in and drove it full of water (for testing purposes so i didnt waste 26 dollars wasting the coolant if it is gonna have to be drained again) and the car still overheats. Now im at a loss of what could be wrong. people have been telling me most likely a bad head gasket....... which i hope not. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have a tear between a coolant feed and a cylinder it'll overheat (happened on my wife's Civic). There are test kits available that'll sniff out combustion gases and confirm a bad head gasket. If you've burped the hell out of the system, it might be time to look into that.

yea pretty sure it was burped like crazy. If i take a sample of the oil from my car to an only audi shop, they would be able to tell by looking at it?
