outside wind noise in the cabin on highway
Fellas...I noticed something,that i haven't noticed,before. Since i've replaced,both my rear wheel bearings.
The cabin has been, relatively less quiet, before the bearings, were replaced.
I do however, notice an annoying amount of noise from wind, pushing against the car, coming from outside, when on the highway.
I don't feel any air, coming from anywhere but i haven't really, tried to check, either. I hear high pitched sounds of air, when on the highway.
I want to know,from my A4 B5 brethren,is this a common thing,with our A4 B5's?
I hope it isn't a issue with my seems within the interior of my cabin,i doubt this, being water from rain or car washes, don't leak into the cabin.
I mean,it isn't nowhere as loud as my driver side, wheel bearing was but i feel it can stand to be,a lot more quieter in the cabin on the highway.
Any suggestions or things i can do to improve my highway driving experience?
I really find it annoying,that i have to have my girl,scream into the phone,while I'm driving,because i can't hear her,very good.

I searched about this problem when I first had my car. It was my driver side door. I'm not sure about your circumstances, but I noticed the wind noise was more prominent by the B pillar of my driver side door. It was due to the door not having a proper seal and others have attempted to bend the door inwards towards the door jamb.

How is your door alignment? On my car, the door would shut properly, but had sagged by at least a quarter inch at the trailing edge of the door. When the door is shut, look at the window trim. If it is not straight across, there's your problem.
I did some research on this and tried some shims, but it was not enough. Do not adjust the striker plate. The door has moved. Raising the striker plate to lift the door will only lead to premature wear and failure. In the end, as others suggested, I placed my floor jack on the outside edge of the door with a slice of 2x4 and gently lifted on the door until the alignment was back to where it should be. So far so good.

Fellas,i can tell by just looking at my passenger, lower moldings. The part where the rear door and passenger door meet in the middle, the passenger side molding is raised further out, than the rear side door.
He did align a little as it now closes flush but its still not 100% flush,he said the top of the passenger door, was hitting the pillar, when closing and that's why it wouldn't close flush.
This misaligned door, began after i got my passenger side window replaced, last year. I even watched as they did it,they had to take the inner door off,to access the glass regulator and vacuum all the broken glass out of my door and insert the new one in my passenger door.
They did NOT remove my passenger door, off its hinges.
They did remove a bracket, within the door that held my glass window,so they could install the glass window,so i am confused on how my door, became misaligned from that day forth.
