Oil pressure check 2.8 12V AFC
#2
I found the answer to my question (great infos for the 2.8 12V on http://www.12v.org):

The oil pressure sending unit and the oil pressure switch are located at the font of the engine, bottom, on the oil filter side, roughly where the horizontal belt run is, near the drive side pulley.
I have to go out and check if it can be reached from the bottom to stick a pressure gauge on.
Is VAGcom 'reading' the oil pressure sending unit? Or just the low oil pressure switch (set at 0.9 bar)?
• Oil pressure sending unit: sender for oil pressure gauge (0.3 bar / 4.35 psi)
• Oil pressure switch: sender for oil pressure warning light (0.9 bar / 13 psi): gray connector
