Default Oil burning at idle.

So today i realized that my car was smoking alot out of the the back whenever i would sit at a stop light.
Whenever i run the car there is no visible smoke, but always at idle it burns it, and quite a bit.

Right when i pulled into my destination the oil light came on, and i had burned a quart worth of oil within the last time i changed which was about 4 days ago.
And i hadn't drove it for 2 of those days.

The head has had oil burning problems but now they are worse?
Do you think its time to install the replacement?
And what do you think is causing this?

Pop off the charge hose from the compressor outlet (under/behind the passenger foglight) and see how much oil is in there. I'm wondering if you have shaft seal leakage from the turbo. If you've gone through that much oil that quickly you're definitely burning oil all the time, not just at idle.

What kind of oil-burning head problems have you been having?

The turbo only has around 7k on it, and I was still burning oil after the old gt30 was replaced to a precision turbo.
The block was rebuilt with forged rods and pistons and has the same mileage. Just the head has been untouched, but I have a rebuilt head in my garage but I'm just waiting to install it since I'm slowly adding to it. I'll have to check when I get home.
