are we talkin about the self-diming or the heated mirrors option???
heated mirrors turn on automatically when the temp reaches a certain degree (i believe its 40F and lower) and they get pretty warm too lol. it says it in the manual!

How do you know if you have heated mirrors and self-dimming?

if your rear view mirror has a little thing under it that faces the rear of the car it self dims. self dimming comes with heated mirrors

Huh? I have a lever you pull on the mirror to flip it. I'm talking about self dimming side mirrors
I have heated seats, so I have heated mirrors.

i have self dimming/heated side mirrors but i dont have the self dimming rear view mirror.
if you have heated mirrors you most likely also have self dimming (1 would think)
but idk how you'd be able to tell. im pretty sure my manual said i have self dimming mirrors. does the blue tint have anything to do with it??

the blue tint IS the auto dimming. when they were new, they would start clear, and then tint when they had to. kind of like those glasses that turn into sunglasses. but over the years they would stop working right, and just stay dimmed all the time. hey better that than stayin clear and not dimming lol.

haha, that's funny. They may as well buy 4 rings to put on their cars to install an Audi badge. LOL
