offset?

Default offset?

could i fit a 17'' 42mm offset wheel on my 1996 2.8 a4 quattro with a 2inch drop without anything rubbing?

7.5 could i use oem tires also or do u think the 2 inch drop will be to low?

You should be fine. My stock wheels and tires where fine on 2in drop and the stock wheels had a 45ET. They actually sat in better than the wheels and tires I have now which are 35ET and rub on every thing!

You probably will rub a little. I am running 235/45/17 with ET35 on my H&R coils. I have a 2+ drop and only really rub during turns. Get it done! Rubbing is racing!

But what are you rubbing on? I doubt he will...

Ha you know what I have yet to pinpoint exactly what I do rub on.

well i got 215/45/17 so im pretty sure they should work fine. they have .2 in shorter side walls then the oem tires. looking forward to see what it will look like when im done.
