The OFFICIAL 2013 Spring Bing Meet Thread
I decided to put the main thread in the B5 forum since that's where most of the traffic is, then x-post to the Northeast, South, Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West sub-forums. Deal with it
The Bing meets were the dogs ***** for a few years, but this past year with everything that's happened interest wasn't as high. Lets see if we can get this ball rolling again!
Cook park seems to be a great location and I think we should stick with it. The owner was very happy to have us all there and even came over and looked at the cars. There's ********, showers, plenty of room to park and pitch tents (#nohomo), and a concrete pad with a shelter and electricity for wrenching and/or playing rock band.
Lets concentrate on setting a date that will work for everyone, then work out the finer details of food and beer and other essentials.
Who's interested?!
EDIT:
OFFICIAL Date: 3-5 May 2013
Location: Binghamton, NY http://goo.gl/maps/1suX3 / Greene, NY http://goo.gl/maps/8DUCj
More information about prices, what you need to bring, etc. to follow.

Definitely. Last year was tough with a lot of us having issues that hindered or precluded us from doing a second meet (although spring was a great time). A couple things I want to add to the agenda beyond the usual beer/BBQ/mild tech - one, a trip to Syracuse for Dinosaur BBQ and some go-kart hot laps. The Carousel Mall up there has been the beneficiary of a multibillion dollar expansion to the point that it rivals Mall of the Americas (www.destinyusa.com). They have an indoor kart track where we can race and (except for Beau, Dave, and a couple others) enjoy acceleration faster than our cars. Also, possibly a photo shoot near the lake in Ithaca - Emil can help us figure out a good location there as its his hometown. Beyond that, it's a weekend of beer, food, beer, camping, tech, and beer. And dick humor.

Is it that time of year again? I have no excuse to put miles on the new wagon. And I feel worse for not sticking around as much. Maybe Big Tim will bring the old B5 with him if I can get him locked in. Its a good thing we are discussing this now......April too soon?toolate?
