I have had this car for about 10 months now. I have always had the same o2 sensor CELs (both lower sensors). Recnetly I had a vacuum leak from a cracked hose that I saw in a CEL for a lean condition and found the leak from that. I used to have a CEL for my EGR all the time as well. After running some seafoam a few weeks back the EGR CEL has gone away. But now instead if the car idles there is minimal if any smoke that comes from the exhaust. When I take off from that light I blow a pretty nasty cloud of smoke right where I take off from and then no more smoke again. I am a little concerned, I don't like the smoking and assume something odd is going on since it just recently started. Could this have something to do with my lack of an EGR CEL at this point? Could the badly working but slightyl working EGR be causing some smoking issues?
