Only 93

 

Well 87. Good thing i havent bought that S4 yet and still have the 30V.

I like to treat my car to 93 some weeks----but it hasent been lately

 

might want to cut down the 5000+ post count and get your *** a job

i think that everyone should run premium. I cut the useless driving and f**king around with the car and keep it for buisness. School & Job. And i try my best not to get aheavy foot on the gas pedal(this isthe hard part)[>:]

Anyway its a few $$ difference from 89 to 91 gas.

 

Non quattro audi's have larger tanks cause the lack of the system in the rear leaves more room for a bigger tank.

 

i go for the 93... even though i only get bout 205 miles to the tank in my stock 30v . she's worth it though... and i only do work study.

 

According to my S4 manual the car will run fine on 87, "but with less performance available". I run 87 and it runs fine.
If you want to save money just go do the math. The biggest "$/octane" increase is between 87 and 89 in NY/NJ area. But the difference between 89 and 93 is much less. So 7 gallons of 87 and 7 gallons of 93 equals 14 gallons of 90. But it's cheaper this way then buying 14 gallons of 89.
example-7g 87 at $3.03= $21.21, 7g 93at $3.27=$22.89 for a total of $44.10 for90 octane
but 14g of 89 at $3.18= $44.52. Some stations the price differential is much higher then the ones I used(real prices at a station near me). So an increase of 2 octane costs $.14 from 87 to 89, but from 89 to 93 it only cost $.10 for 4 octane increase.
Also go to GasBuddy.com and look around for better prices where you are. They change daily too.
