Question Is it normal for my RPMs to act this way? [w/ Video]

Well I recently took the throttle body off and cleaned it then performed the auto-alignment that the car does when you put the key onto the "ON" position. Doing so fixed my problem where when I would rev the engine the RPMs would come down and bounce a little below the idle then stabilize.

But now I notice that when I press the clutch in when shifting, the RPM hangs a little then goes down. It's a little slow. It didn't act this way before I fixed my previous problem. Maybe it just wasn't running right before and I was just used to it.

Here's a short video:

Also as a side note, I learned how to drive stick on my own and none of my friends drive stick so I really don't have anyone to compare my shifting to. I just wanted some input to see if I'm doing anything wrong too. I've been driving stick for 7 months now.

It was kind of hard to tell on your video because I can't actually see when the clutch is going in and you are shifting. It is normal for a slight delay as it is intended to help the emissions on the car. My '00 Trans Am had it really bad and I hated it. It also made you skip a few gears when taking it easy around town. It only "unlocked" all the gears when you were driving it hard. (Of course there is a work around for that and it was the first mod I did on that car.)

The first two shifts I pressed in the clutch at 3000 RPM. I also forgot to mention that I disconnected the battery when I cleaned the TB to reset the computer as well.

But I'll try to record another clip later today to show it better.
