Default No headlight! Please help!

I ran my headlights this morning and everything was fine. The front and hear fog lights were in working order. When night came no headlights or front and rear fog lights. Checked the fuses and everything looks good.
Please help as much as you can!

I had this happen recently. The cause was a broken stalk switch. I believe on your car you still turn the lights on with the stick on the stalk. Mine was broken and had small pieces of plastic in there which prevented the correct contacts from occuring when the light stalk was up. There is a DIY about changing you stalk switch. Also if your cruise doesn't work a new stalk switch might also fix that.

Did you taillights and corner lights still work, but no headlights?

If your blinkers dont engage, wipers dont wipe, Headlights dont come on but if you pull the stalk back you high beams flash but will not stay on. Then yes its your combination switch (or as kkinzli called it stalk switch) follow the above DIY to clean it out to see if that works and let us know.

I don't know if that can help but ... I have oem HID on my 2000 A4 1.8tQ and I have/had this issue for a while ... sometimes, when it's cold outside ( I'm in Canada, cold is 5 degree and below ) headlight / daylight doesn't work but all other light work fine ( highbeam, taillight, blinker ) and as you did, checked all the fuse ( they were good ) and even change it just to be sure ... still same issue ... but it never happened when it warm outside ?? ... but one thing I find out is when they don't work, I just stop the car, remove the light fuse and put it back ... and then, they start working again ... I think there is a relay somewhere but since I no electrician, even with the bentley wiring diagram, I don't know witch on is the light relay ...If someone know witch relay is the one for the headlight, then maybe it can solve my issue and yours at the same time ...
