Yu, I took it out already, that just didn't work because there was nothing holding it in place so I couldn't turn it. Nothing is stuck together, it's just difficult to turn the ring. It's doable, just really hard. Tomorrow I'm going to work on it all day and not stop until it's raised.
Bleh.

Still don't have my car. Maybe tomorrow, I don't know.
However...
Tank and pressure switch just came! Water filter is back ordered, should be here by Christmas.

Word.
I decided I'm going back to stock suspension for the winter, I just need new spring seats... $57 a piece on ECS is not what I want to pay. ****!

I'm bored and my car still isn't driveable because I took the front suspension out and compressing the stock springs enough to put everything back together isn't something I'm comfortable doing with rented autozone compressors...
I want spring/summer.
:'(
I almost died today on the highway because that minivans brakes pretty much are useless right now. Swerving across two lanes of traffic to avoid hitting someone on a snowy highway is an adrenaline rush. FWD and all seasons... **** you.
Got some airline today, the more parts I get the more motivated/less depressed I get when it comes to my car. HA.

You're going air too?
Before you ask where I've been, I'll tell you.
A cabin. Circa 1926. Picture The Shining on miniature. Picture three rooms, 10 miles from a town of 50. Picture a family of four, none too friendly, none too pleasant. Picture no cell service, no electricity, no running water. Four days, three nights, 80lb packs, 130lb sleds. And the snow comes down....
I'm back now though, and I'm feeling much better after a zip down some back roads.
thread jacked.

Kayak that sounds pretty cool actually.
Holy. ****. My car is actually on the ground and driving around again. Finally fixed the coilovers today at work. Took a 230lb. maintenance guy, a 2.5 foot monkey wrench and some good old fashioned elbow grease.
Threw those bitches into the vice grip and let the big guy have at it. First few turns were miserable but once we got past all the DIRT stuck in the threads, it was smooth sailing.
I'm now riding comfortably (although I'm no longer flossin') at 25" gtf. Will dial it in more when I put the winter wheels on, then pictures will be a plenty.

Edit: Also got my water trap yesterday. Tomorrow should be a pretty big air parts delivery...
