Lol I don't want to do my timing belt

I know it's illegal but cops around here won't bother me about it. I used to have a green plate that said BROD, and I never got **** for it until I got pulled over for something else.

I talked to a cop about it when I put it on and they said they don't care enough to pull you over for something little like that.

Alex, you're probably right, but I like having a list of things I know I won't get done. Hahahaha.

Probably make a template of the carpet, buy some wood floor stuff and then cut away! I haven't put too much thought into it yet.

If I had an Avant I'd do the same. Rear seat delete FTW!

I can check off "cut bumpstops" from the list now. I did that today, the ride is a million times better. The only problem is my passenger side STILL won't go any lower. The other three corners are fine, but I feel like something is stopping the pass front from going lower, I don't know what it could be though.

I had the driver's side bottomed out before, now I have about an inch and a half of threads left and I'm still tucking a bit in the front

I need to roll my fenders bad though... I had to jack my car up and raise the coils today in my friends driveway after we went out for a bit  The car just kept settling so I couldn't make a full turn without f*cking up my fenders.

SO. What the hell could be stopping my passenger side from going any lower? Everything I have done to the driver's side, I've done to the passenger's side. I have no idea what it could be.

Pics soon once I dial in the ride height, maybe I'll get my muffler installed this week.

I also ordered city lights.

Yay!

Edit: Oh and I also realized my passenger side rear wheel has more poke than the driver's side rear wheel... Probably because I haven't gotten an alignment? I don't know what else it could be...

Thanks honey.

I'm going to do that. I don't feel like bringing my car to the body shop anytime soon.

Nick - I honestly don't know what it is with the B5 but you're correct about the passenger side having more poke than driver's side. I never really measured it but it always seems like my rear passenger is poking more than the driver. Also funny part is that I only rub on my passenger rear side (with the same spec wheels and ride height) so only my rear passenger tire is messed up.

Mine too! Except it's the bumpers fault .

I guess the extra poke isn't a big deal since you can't really tell unless you're looking for it.
