Nice oil puddle

I think I'll start with the o-ring because that looks to be where its leaking from... and thats only $5 at the dealership. They want $200 for an oil cooler! I think if thats the culprit i will get it from ECS... they have good pricing. If it was leaking from the oil cooler itself i take it there would be a visible crack or break somewhere correct? Thanks.

i've never seen an oil cooler crack unless it was hit. it's most likely the O ring or the nut that holds the oil cooler on may have come loose a little bit. you should invest in a repair manual. if you can do light maintenance, you can do a lot of other things on cars. it'll just be time consuming when you're new at it. i'm looking at my haynes manual there's an oil pressure line right above the oil cooler. you can see it if the front end is off but try and see if you see a hose with a hard fitting literally right above the coolant lines on the oil cooler. i'd just take a look at it just in case because it is a pressure line
