heh the motor is still sitting there. instead of buying things piece by piece im goin to save up some money and do it mostly in one shot. i have like 4 companies im going to buy from and the shopping list is about $2k long for each of them. except rods and pistons are next, then it goes out to the machine shop.

for the tape your going to have to just carefuly cut it off. get a brand new strait razor and cut a little hole going the direction with the wires. take a pencil or something and push it thru that hole down with the wires then cut against the pencil with the razor. just go slow and you probably wont cut many wires lol. and if you do they can easily be soldered back together.

Damn this guy must of spent a day and 40 rolls of tape doing this. It took me for ever unraveling this crap. I found the spot and fixed it and then I pulled the boot of the plug apart and found the wire inside wasn't making contact. Fixed everything and now it pulls like it should. Thanks man, I almost went and bought a new valve lol.

Most likely. If he's a douche, he probably just twisted and taped them. This time, repair them one at a time and solder them or at least use splice connectors (they have some now that you crimp together and heat with a heat gun, which melts solder in the connector to solder the connection that way). Then seal them up and you'll probably be OK for good.
